Oolio required NetSuite to support a complex multi-entity business operating across 14 companies, 100+ users, and 5 countries.
The challenge extended well beyond implementation. Different subsidiaries operated with distinct order-to-cash processes, while the group needed to support hardware rental, subscription-based software and services, inter-subsidiary billing, and integration with middleware used by selected subsidiaries.
The real challenge was designing a solution that could bring all of this together in a commercially practical and operationally sustainable way, within an aggressive delivery timeline.
We delivered the engagement end to end, covering solution design, configuration, data migration, development, classroom training, and post-go-live support.
At the centre of the engagement was a bespoke commercial model, designed and developed specifically for Oolio's operating requirements. This enabled the business to support hardware rental alongside subscription billing for software and services, giving them a more flexible and commercially effective way to package and sell their offering.
We complemented this with a web-based quoting and sales tool that made it easier for Oolio's customers to configure their requirements online. Rental hardware and subscribed software and services were surfaced through the tailored commercial framework developed by nexWare within NetSuite, giving the business a more seamless and scalable way to take customers from selection through to order.
Where needed, the solution was also integrated with middleware used by selected subsidiaries, while accommodating entities operating through different process structures across the group.
From an invoicing and collections perspective, we enabled multiple payment methods including bank transfer and credit card, supported by a click-to-pay experience that allowed customers to settle invoices directly through a secure payment link.
The result was a more flexible and scalable commercial model within NetSuite, a smoother quoting and billing process, and stronger support for recurring revenue across the group.
By reducing upfront cost barriers for customers, improving payment convenience, and supporting more sophisticated multi-entity processes, the solution gave Oolio a stronger operational foundation for growth.
